Celebration Alert!
Early June the ACM Celebration of Women in Computing goes to Linz, Austria. Johannes Kepler University, a heavily technical university in Upper-Austria, is hosting its first ever ACM Celebration of Women in Computing event: the JKU ACM Celebration of Women in Computing 2026.
JKU has dedicated efforts to strengthen women’s presence in computing and broadly STEM.
At this two-day celebration, we are proud to present to you above 30 student projects that aim to make an impact on computing, and broadly on STEM, by contributing to create a more gender-diverse and inclusive environment.
The projects, ranging from social media campaigns through websites to workshops, all tackle specific challenges about gender and inclusion in STEM, from bias in AI systems to the lack of relatable role models.
Come celebrate students’ innovative solutions with us.
